5.0AI for BIM and lighting design
I connect language models to Autodesk Revit through MCP (Model Context Protocol): the agent reads and writes the 3D model live through the Revit API, inside reversible transactions. It generates levels, walls, curtain walls, furniture and light fixtures, documents with views, dimensions and sheets, extracts quantity take-offs and exports to IFC for lighting analysis in DIALux evo.

An agent connected to Revit 2027 over MCP modeled two Lima buildings: the Interbank Tower, from public data, and the UTEC campus, traced from its published drawings. It includes curtain walls, structure, light fixtures, sheets and take-offs to Excel. The IFC → DIALux evo workflow was also tested, with illuminance and uniformity per classroom read automatically.
